InterConnect is organising a Webinar series on Open Innovation and Personal Data Protection in the ICT and energy fields.
The third webinar will be on the topic of Personal Data Protection. Aby Chaco and Tony Sulankivi, from Tiko, will be speaking under the subject “New business models with household assets: Impact on Cybersecurity and Data ownership” on February 19 at 2pm (CET).
ABOUT THE WEBINAR
New innovate business models are being implemented with household assets by providing Home Energy Management Systems (HEMS) as well as Flexibility with Virtual Power Plants (VPP). Tiko will be presenting its experience as a HEMS and VPP solution provider regarding the challenges of Cybersecurity and Data ownership which must be handled to implement these business models successfully.
ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Aby Chacko studied electrical engineering in Germany. He heads the energy services team by tiko and is responsible for the operation and development of the tiko virtual power plant. Before joining tiko, he worked at Swissgrid, the Swiss transmission system operator as ancillary services specialist, responsible for the prequalification of assets, as well as the for the integration of demand side aggregators for ancillary services.
Toni Sulankivi is a cyber and network security professional with over 14 years of experience covering wide scale of mission critical infrastructures both in private and governmental sectors. Before joining tiko Energy as the Head of Cyber Security, he has been responsible for designing defenses for a nuclear power plant and military in the UAE and consulting several companies in Finland and Nordic countries in cyber security.
