Battery Innovation Centre Infrastructure

MOBI’s Battery Innovation Centre is the largest academic battery lab in Belgium. In our battery test lab, we test battery cells, modules and packs of any size. We can run the following battery tests:

  • Cycling and aging
  • Internal resistance through HPPC
  • High current pulse testing
  • Drive cycle testing
  • Fast charging testing
  • Post-mortem analysis
  • Heat distribution measurement
  • Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy

Furthermore, we fabricate test cells for proof-of-concepts and battery assembly optimization.
