From 4 to 6 September, you can join the 8th edition of hEART in Budapest, an annual event organized by the European Association of Research in Transportation (hEART). The conference will include several transportation related topics and will focus on issues of transport modeling, transport economics, planning and policy, innovative solutions.
The aim of the conference is to connect researchers in transport modeling, transport economics and transport policy with advanced practice. Bringing together leading experts and promising young researchers, the symposium offers an opportunity for scientific discussion and interaction in relatively small groups. The conference will be accompanied by social events, and a summer school intended for PhD students the day before the symposium.
Excellent keynote speakers will highlight relevant research topics and give a broad overview of current developments and future perspectives.
On the second day of the conference, the 5th of September, prof. dr. Cathy Macharis wil talk during the plenary session focusing on the question: 'How to transform our transport system to reach the climate goals?'.
