Shovon Goutam graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from Kuet, Bangladesh in 2009. After graduation, he worked as a design and analysis engineer in Bangladesh. Later he joined Jonkoping University, Sweden, where he obtained his M.Sc. in Product Development and Material Engineering in 2013. His Master Thesis on developing nanostructured electrode material for hydrogen fuel cell was carried out in Toyota Motor Europe, Belgium with a collaboration of Surface Science and Corrosion Institute of Erlangen University, Germany. In March 2014, he started his PhD in Engineering Science at ETEC, Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Currently, he is working in the Battery Development team of MOBI. His research activities involve Characterization, Material development and Modelling of Rechargeable Energy Storage System (RESS) for Electric Vehicles.
