Danila Goncharenko

Danila earned his M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Oulu, Finland, in August 2025. His master's thesis, "Application of machine learning to traffic noise prediction: a case study of Tampere and Oulu," received the highest grade. He completed a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering and Production Technology at LAB University of Applied Sciences, Lappeenranta, Finland, in February 2023. During the summers of 2023 and 2024, Danila worked as a full-time Research Assistant in Innovative Hydraulics and Automation group at Tampere University, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences. In November 2025, he began a joint PhD program between Tampere University and Vrije Universiteit Brussel, focusing on AI-based predictive maintenance for off-road mobile machinery.
