Dr. Gamze Egin Martin

Gamze EGIN MARTIN received her PhD in Engineering Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), Brussels, Belgium, in 2025, and her BSc and MSc degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Uludag University, Bursa, Türkiye. She is currently a Senior Researcher at the Electromobility Research Centre (MOBI), within the Efficient Power Electronics, Powertrain, and Energy Solutions (EPOWERS) Research Group at VUB.

 

Her research focuses on thermal management solutions for power electronics in electric vehicles, with particular emphasis on advanced cooling concepts for high-power-density systems. She has over six years of industrial experience in the automotive and optoelectronic sectors and previously worked in Research and Development Project Management at Renault Group, Türkiye. She is actively involved in international research collaborations and has disseminated her work through peer-reviewed publications and presentations at international conferences.
