Gabriele Menconi

My name is Gabriele Menconi, and I am from Rome, Italy. Throughout my academic career, I have built a strong background in automotive engineering, earning a bachelor's degree from Politecnico di Torino and a master's degree from École Centrale Nantes. After successfully completing my master's thesis at the CMT laboratory in Valencia, where I focused on the thermal management and aging of lithium-ion batteries, I decided to pursue a PhD in this field. In November 2025, I began my experience at the MOBI research center at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, collaborating with JRC-Petten on research aimed at optimizing the performance and durability of lithium-ion batteries.
