

Dr. Maeva Lavigne Philippot
Biography
Maeva Lavigne Philippot graduated from Ecole des Mines d’Albi in Material Engineering and studied industrial design. After 4 years of freelancer work, she obtained a M.Sc. in eco-design and LCA in Université de Besançon. She worked as an engineer in a french laboratory where she performed LCA of bio-processes and food-processes. She obtained her Ph.D. with the thesis “Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment of Batteries for Electric Vehicles” at Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Her research focuses on environmental and social life cycle assessment (LCA) of batteries. She is involved in several European projects developing future generation batteries. Today she is the LCA team leader of EVERGi research group. The team studies the impacts of current and future sustainable multi-vector systems (electricity, water, heat, cooling, data, mobility, hydrogen, efuels, …).
