Biography
Before joining MOBI, I spent four years with the VUB Racing team. I started as a member of the mechanical team, where I learned hands-on skills such as turning, milling, and welding. I was later appointed Head of the Mechanical Subteam, where I designed and manufactured the suspension system for our car. This gave me a solid mechanical background, so feel free to reach out if you ever need help with mechanical questions or projects.
After that, I became Co-Captain and eventually Team Captain in my final year. These roles gave me valuable experience in both technical development and team leadership.
Outside of work, I enjoy climbing and hiking in nature. I’m also passionate about motorsports, so you’ll often find me going to rally events in my free time.
During my PhD, my research will focus on centralising and integrating AI into the ECU architecture. As part of this project, I’ll also be converting the REVA (the red car in the lab) into a functional test platform.
