The Mobility, Logistics and Automotive Technology Research Centre (MOBI) at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel has a strong tradition in state-of-the-art research on e-mobility and socio-economic analysis in sustainable mobility and logistics.
A multidisciplinary team of more than 100 specialists addresses the challenges that the transport value chain faces, by integrating the engineering, economy, policy, sociology & environmental sciences.

Project
You start on the European Horizon 2020 research project "Shared automation operating models for worldwide adoption" situated in the domain of autonomous mobility. Your research will focus on socio-economic aspects of autonomous vehicles with a specific focus on impact assessment. You will also be responsible for the project management and the coordination with the different European partners.
Your profile
You are a motivated researcher with strong interest in new developments in the domain of electric and autonomous mobility and have a good academic track record, preferably in Business Engineering, Economics, Economic Geography, Urban Planning, Engineering or Computer Science with a strong interest in Business. You are a team player. You are a good communicator and write fluently in English. You are willing to attend project meetings and travel abroad for meetings and conferences.
