Danesh Amani
Biography
Danesh Amani received his M.Sc. in Power Electronics from Tarbiat Modares University, Iran, in 2021. During his M.Sc., he was involved in the design, analysis, modeling, and development of resonant and quasi-resonant DC-DC step-up converters for renewable energy applications. His exceptional work earned him two prestigious national awards: the Best M.Sc. Thesis by the IEEE Iran Section and the Best M.Sc. Thesis Prize in Power Electronics Engineering by the Power Electronics Society of Iran. Currently, Danesh is pursuing his Ph.D. at EPOWERS within the renowned MOBI Research Group at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). His current research focused on developing an advanced battery management system incorporating fault detection and also active balancing circuits.
