Dr. Dominik Huber
Biography
Dominik is a post-doctoral researcher focusing on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of emerging energy technologies and energy systems. He holds a PhD in Engineering Sciences from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). Throughout his PhD, he contributed to several national and European research projects, advancing LCA methodology to better capture the temporal and spatial dimensions of emerging energy technologies across multiple scales. Prior to his PhD, Dominik completed a Bachelor in Business Administration at Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences and obtained a Master of Science in Life Cycle and Sustainability at Pforzheim University, where his thesis investigated the environmental life cycle impacts of autonomous minibuses. His current research continues to advance LCA methodology in support of the sustainable energy transition.
