Dr. Ing. Nikolaas Van den Steen

Nikolaas Van den Steen holds a Master degree in Engineering Technology, with a focus on Energy. He received his Joint PhD in Engineering Technology from the KU Leuven campus Ghent and Business Economics from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in March 2024, with a focus on speed pedelecs.

Nikolaas is now working as a post-doctoral researcher at MOBI in the field of electric mobility. His activities focus on research and management of EU and national research projects on electric mobility, total cost of ownership, user acceptance, stakeholder engagement and light electric mobility.
