Md. Iftadul Islam Sakib

  Md. Iftadul Islam Sakib received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) from Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) in 2018 and 2021, respectively. He received the Top Achiever’s Award for Outstanding Academic Performance in the Graduate Program at IUB. He has previously served as a Part-time Lecturer at the School of Engineering, Technology, and Sciences (SETS) at IUB and as a Research Associate at the Green Energy Research Center (GERC), IUB.  In May 2024, Sakib joined as a PhD researcher with the EPOWERS team of the MOBI Research Centre at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), under the supervision of Prof. Omar Hegazy. His current research is focused on the development of an intelligent and in-situ prognostics and health management system for modular SiC-based power converter modules.
