MOBI was present at the ITS Belgium congress! Participants could discover MOBI’s virtual reality demo where they got immersed in the city of the future!
With automation of vehicles looming, its potential impacts on mobility and subsequently on land use can revolutionize urban form. As part of the academic research project “Autonomous Mobility and Logistics” in the MOBI research group at VUB, we aim to understand the level of acceptance of autonomous vehicles, and further explore how experiencing a future with automation influences that acceptance.
In our virtual reality experiment, programmed by Espaces-Mobilité, you experience riding through Brussels of the future in a self-driving shuttle and you can explore for yourself a potential future of urban form with full automation.
