The launch of an 'Automated Shuttle Service for Brussels Health Campus'

By the end of the month there will be the launch of a self-driving shuttle bus on the Brussels Health Campus in Jette. 'Automated Shuttle Service for Brussels Health Campus’ is an Innoviris funded project with a consortium of 3 research groups. The main objective of this project is to facilitate mobility at the Brussels Health Campus.

Cathy Macharis, head of MOBI. With an accessible and down-to-earth view the climate issue is explained: what is going on, why action must be taken and how that should be done.

First implementation of MAMCA within the energy sector

MOBI has an important role in two European funded research projects about ‘Local Energy Communities’ that started off this year. The first project is called RENAISSANCE or ‘Renewable integration and sustainability in energy communities’, an H2020 project with 4 pilot sites throughout Europe.

Official foundation of Green Energy Park by VUB and UZ Brussel

On Thursday the 4th of July VUB and UZ Brussel officially founded the non-profit organization 'Green Energy Park', the future living lab for green energy and mobility, the hospital of the future, smart cities and smart AI technologies. The research hub will be located on the Researchpark Zellik in brand new state-of-the-art buildings. Read more in the press release.
