Ramy Kotb
Biography
Ramy Kotb received the M.Sc. degree in Electrical engineering and information technology with major point in Power electronics from Darmstadt University of Applied Science, Germany in 2017. He Did his master thesis at Robert Bosch GmbH research campus, Stuttgart, Germany. Master thesis was about modelling and simulation of Hybrid Space-Vector-Based modulation techniques (PWM), for optimized operation of 2-level inverters, in high performance electric drives. In February 2018 he started his industrial career at electrical mobility field with one of the main electrical powertrains suppliers as System Simulation Engineer.
In April 2022, he started his PhD in the Power Electronics and Electrical Machines (PEEM) team of the MOBI research center at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, under the supervision of Prof. Omar Hegazy. His main research is focused on design and implementation of highly integrated WBG based multiport HF DC/DC converters for new E/E architectures in EVs.
