Hakan Polat received MSc. in the area of “Electrical Machinery and Power Electronics” from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey. His focus during MSc were finite element modeling and power electronics hardware design.

Julien graduated in 2021 in the Bruface Master Electromechanical Engineering: Vehicle technology and transport. He is doing his PhD at the Electrical Engineering and Energy Technology Department (ETEC) on Power Electronics.

Farzad Hosseinabadi was born in Isfahan, Iran. He graduated with a M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering - Power Electronics and Electric Machines in 2018 from Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), Isfahan, Iran. He also graduated from the University of Kashan with a B.Sc.

Iris Pissens is a senior researcher at the MOBI Research Center of the Vrije Universiteit Brussels. She joined the Electrical Engineering and Energy Technology Communities (ETEC) research group in 2021 to manage the VUB campus Lighting Master plan.

Prof. dr. Lieselot Vanhaverbeke is Assistant Professor at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, at the department of Business Technology and Operations (BUTO) and the Electromobility Research Centre (MOBI). She teaches Operations Research and Research Methods.
