Maarten Messagie has a PhD in engineering sciences with a focus on the life cycle sustainability of electric vehicles, batteries and energy systems.

MOHAMED EL BAGHDADI holds a master’s (electromechanical engineer) and doctor’s degree in Engineering Sciences, obtained at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium.

Thomas Geury holds a Master degree in Electrical Engineering, obtained at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in 2012.

Prof Dr Ir Maitane Berecibar obtained her PhD in Engineering of Sciences at the VUB in August 2017 titled “Development of an Accurate State of Health Estimation Technique for Lithium-Ion Batteries”.

Stella started working as a Project Manager for EU funded projects in 2011, mainly focusing on consortia coordination, progress monitoring, reporting, communication and project dissemination.

Dr. Dermenci obtained his B.Sc. Degree in 2010 and M.Sc. Degree in 2012 at Istanbul Technical University, Turkey. His Master’s Thesis is based on the production and photocatalytic activity evaluation of Ag/ZnO Nanocomposite Particles via Ultrasonic Spray Pyrolysis Method.

Anne van den Oever obtained her Master’s degree in Bioscience Engineering at the KU Leuven university in 2019. During her studies, she specialized in environmental technology and worked on a joint thesis with VUB on the sustainability of biofuels.
