Future scenarios for a rural Flemish village

In the project Oetingen2050, the MOBI urban mobility team is developing future scenarios for Oetingen, a rural village in the Flemish Pajottenland. The project aims at developing a mobility vision for the village for the year 2050, as well as alternative scenarios based on disruptions. Visions and scenarios can help governments make the right policy decisions by defining a desired future state.

Co-design and impact assessment of a car-free school street zone in Anderlecht

The MOBI urban mobility team is developing and testing a school street zone in the Brussels municipality of Anderlecht. A school street is a temporary closure of a street next to a school entrance to minimize traffic during the pick-up and drop-off of students.

With the highest team score of all the participating universities, VUB is for now finishing at first place.
