Brussels wants to improve the air quality by encouraging the use of cargo bikes

MOBI will together with Brussel Mobiliteit and Leefmilieu Brussel coordinate the new project CAIRGO BIKE! The aim of this project is to improve the air quality in Brussels by encouraging the use of cargo bikes. This project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund through the Urban Innovative Actions Initiative. More information about the project can be found here.

Heel eerlijk? Ik heb genoten van de lockdown. Ja, genoten van de stilte en van de natuur. Wat heerlijk om de planten te zien ontluiken in een prachtige lente die misschien wel zo mooi was omdat ik eindelijk de tijd en ruimte had om er van te genieten. Ik heb genoten van pure geuren op straat die net als op autoloze zondagen mijn neus blij maken, niet verpest door een overdaad aan uitlaatgassen.

Such microgrids make citizens both producers and consumers of energy at the same time.

Who can fill in the questionnaire? If you are someone who normally (before the corona crisis) stays at home (no outdoor travels) for two days a week or more, please complete this questionnaire. We only examine the answers of people who travel to places (work, shops, hobbies, family or friends, ...) for a maximum of five days a week. It takes about 10-15 minutes to complete the questionnaire.

BCklet has won the Logistics Project of the Year 2020 during the Transport & Logistics Awards. The BCklet project was launched in October 2018 by the Brussel cooperative Urbike. It aims to develop a proof-of-concept for goods distribution with containers the size of a pallet that are pulled by a bicycle.
